Arc-Tech Scotland Limited

Arc-Tech Scotland Limited is one of our Sheds biggest sponsors. When the Arc-Tech directors heard about a new local Men's Shed they visited us and asked if there was anything they could do to help, we discussed with them the problems we faced. Prior to obtaining permission from Glasgow City Council to re-purpose the old Parks Department depot as a community village the site had been earmarked for demolition and the utilities had already been cut-off.

Following a survey of the site they agreed to re-connect all the buildings to the mains electric. 3 days later their workforce were onsite and worked all weekend, in extreme weather conditions, thereafter relevant safety checks were carried out and the whole site was live again. Amazingly, Arc-Tech did all this work free of charge! We had previously received a quote in excess of £10,000.
